Welcome to Chatjon. Chatjon is a location-based social discovery and real-time chat platform that allows users to discover nearby people, create profiles, chat, join communities, share footprints or location-based activity, upload photos, videos, and stories, receive push notifications, and use safety features such as SOS alerts.

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Chatjon mobile application, website, services, features, content, and related products collectively referred to as "Chatjon," "Platform," "Service," "we," "us," or "our."

By using Chatjon, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

By creating an account, accessing, browsing, downloading, or using Chatjon, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not access or use Chatjon.

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform at any time, with or without notice.

You must be legally eligible to use Chatjon under the laws applicable to you.

You must be at least 15 years old to use Chatjon, unless a higher minimum age is required by law in your jurisdiction. By using Chatjon, you represent and warrant that you meet the required age and legal capacity requirements.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Chatjon complies with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws.

To access certain features, you may need to create a user account.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must not share, sell, transfer, or allow others to use your account. If you believe your account has been accessed without authorization, you must contact us immediately.

Chatjon reserves the right to refuse registration, suspend access, restrict features, or terminate accounts at our discretion, including where we believe these Terms have been violated.

You are solely responsible for your conduct, interactions, messages, profile information, media, posts, stories, community participation, location sharing, and any other content or activity on Chatjon.

You agree to: • Use Chatjon lawfully and respectfully. • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations. • Respect the rights, privacy, safety, and dignity of other users. • Share only content that you have the right to upload or distribute. • Avoid misleading, harmful, abusive, or unsafe behavior. • Use caution when communicating with or meeting other users.

You understand that interactions with other users, whether online or offline, are at your own risk.

Chatjon is designed to support safe, respectful, and meaningful social discovery.

You must not use Chatjon to harass, threaten, exploit, abuse, deceive, intimidate, or harm others.

You agree not to post, share, send, or promote content or behavior that is hateful, violent, sexually exploitative, abusive, fraudulent, illegal, discriminatory, invasive of privacy, or otherwise harmful.

We may remove content, limit visibility, restrict features, suspend accounts, or permanently ban users who violate our community standards or these Terms.

You agree not to engage in any of the following activities:

• Harassment, bullying, stalking, threats, intimidation, or abuse. • Hate speech, discrimination, or content targeting people based on protected characteristics. • Sexual exploitation, child sexual abuse material, grooming, trafficking, or any form of exploitation. • Uploading or sharing illegal, violent, obscene, non-consensual, or harmful content. • Impersonating another person, organization, public figure, or Chatjon representative. • Creating fake, misleading, spam, bot, or automated accounts. • Sending spam, scams, phishing links, malware, or unauthorized promotions. • Collecting, scraping, or misusing user data without permission. • Violating another person's privacy, intellectual property, or legal rights. • Using Chatjon for unlawful dating, solicitation, fraud, extortion, or harmful offline activity. • Attempting to hack, disrupt, reverse engineer, overload, or interfere with the Platform. • Circumventing safety systems, moderation tools, account restrictions, or bans. • Encouraging or assisting others to violate these Terms.

Chatjon may investigate and take action against prohibited activity, including suspension, permanent account removal, content deletion, reporting to law enforcement, or other appropriate measures.

Chatjon may allow you to create, upload, post, send, receive, store, or share content, including profile details, usernames, photos, videos, stories, messages, community posts, location footprints, and other materials ("User Content").

You retain ownership of the content you create, subject to the rights granted to Chatjon under these Terms.

By uploading or sharing User Content, you grant Chatjon a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to host, store, display, reproduce, process, modify, adapt, publish, distribute, and use such content as necessary to operate, improve, promote, secure, and provide the Platform.

You are solely responsible for your User Content. You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to share the content, your content does not violate any law or third-party rights, and your content does not contain prohibited, harmful, abusive, illegal, or exploitative material.

Chatjon does not endorse User Content and is not responsible for content uploaded by users. We may remove, restrict, or moderate User Content at our discretion.

Chatjon includes location-based features that may allow users to discover nearby people, share location-related activity, view footprints, or interact based on approximate location.

You understand and agree that nearby discovery, distance estimates, map results, footprints, and location-based suggestions may be approximate, delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate.

Chatjon does not guarantee the accuracy, availability, reliability, or real-time nature of any location data.

You are responsible for deciding whether, when, and with whom to share location-related information. You should not share your location if doing so may put you or others at risk.

Chatjon may provide safety tools, including SOS or emergency-related features. These features are intended to support user safety but are not a replacement for contacting police, ambulance, fire, medical, disaster response, or other official emergency services.

Chatjon does not guarantee that SOS alerts, notifications, location data, emergency messages, or safety features will be delivered, received, accurate, timely, uninterrupted, or effective.

In any emergency, you should immediately contact local emergency services or trusted contacts through official channels.

Chatjon is not responsible for user behavior, harassment, violence, threats, offline meetings, unsafe interactions, or any harm arising from communications or encounters between users.

All rights, title, and interest in Chatjon, including the app, website, software, source code, design, user interface, features, trademarks, logos, branding, graphics, icons, databases, algorithms, and related materials, are owned by Chatjon or its licensors.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, decompile, reproduce, or create derivative works from any part of Chatjon unless expressly permitted by us in writing.

Using Chatjon does not grant you ownership of any intellectual property rights in the Platform.

Your privacy is important to us.

Our collection, use, storage, sharing, and protection of personal information are described in our Privacy Policy. By using Chatjon, you agree to the practices described in our Privacy Policy.

You should review the Privacy Policy carefully, especially because Chatjon may involve profile information, media uploads, messages, device information, push notifications, and location-related data.

Chatjon may integrate with or rely on third-party services, including hosting providers, analytics tools, maps, payment processors, notification services, cloud storage, authentication providers, app stores, and emergency-related communication services.

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, security, policies, content, or practices of third-party services.

Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

Chatjon may suspend, restrict, disable, or permanently terminate your account at any time if we believe that you violated these Terms, violated applicable law, created risk or harm for Chatjon or other users, or your account is involved in abuse, spam, fraud, impersonation, harassment, exploitation, or unsafe conduct.

We may remove your content, limit your access, ban your device or account, or prevent you from creating new accounts.

You may stop using Chatjon at any time. Certain provisions of these Terms will continue to apply after termination where necessary, including intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law provisions.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chatjon, its founders, directors, employees, contractors, affiliates, partners, licensors, and service providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages.

This includes damages arising from user behavior or misconduct, harassment or harmful interactions, offline meetings or real-world encounters, inaccurate or unavailable location data, failure or inaccuracy of SOS or safety features, loss of data, content, reputation, profits, or business opportunities, unauthorized access to your account or content, and service interruptions, bugs, errors, or security incidents.

You use Chatjon and interact with other users at your own risk.

Chatjon is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, accurate, reliable, or available at all times.

We do not guarantee that users are who they claim to be, that user content is accurate, or that interactions through Chatjon will be safe or appropriate.

We may update, modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue any feature, service, or part of Chatjon at any time without notice.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Chatjon, its founders, directors, employees, contractors, affiliates, partners, licensors, and service providers from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including legal fees, arising out of or related to your use or misuse of Chatjon, your User Content, your violation of these Terms, your violation of applicable laws, your violation of any third-party rights, or your interactions, disputes, or offline meetings with other users.

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.

Subject to applicable law, any dispute, claim, or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms, Chatjon, or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.

We may update or revise these Terms from time to time.

When we make changes, we may update the effective date, publish the revised Terms on our website or app, or notify users through appropriate means.

Your continued use of Chatjon after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you must stop using Chatjon.
